Answer on request to introduce Aminet identifier for Vampire software
----------------
Thanks for your feedback.

Aminet software is sorted by type, not by required platform: we are
hosting software for AmigaOS 3, AmigaOS 4, MorphOS, WarpUp, AROS-PPC,
AROS-x86 - that would be a lot of different "sections".

To separate different platforms from each other, Aminet is using the
"Architecture" header in the readme. If we are going to support the
Apollo CPUs, it will be using an architecture tag like 'apollo-amigaos'
or something along those lines.

But 25 releases - of which only about a third has been uploaded to
Aminet so far - do not justify the introduction of a new architecture
tag yet.

We'll keep an eye on this issue, thank you for the suggestion.

In general, all past (team and friends) uploads and future should at least include this 'apollo-amigaos' arhitecture header, to make it visible, searchable etc. Until Aminet introduces something better. Thanks.

What are you trying to do exactly?  Add a "vampire" category on Aminet?  Why?  There is no such thing as an "apollo-amigaos".  The 68080 is not an operating system.  Vampire cards/boards run 68k Amiga operating systems (Amiga OS 3.x or AROS).  This "apollo-amigaos" makes no sense.

Better would be to indicate support for 080 in the same way that people indicate support for 060 or FPU.  This is about the CPU thought.  Not the operating system.
