Vampire 500 Only 512kb Chipram

Hello!
I bought a vampire recently to use in my Amiga 2000. I have my Amiga modded to use Agnus from a3000, 8372ab, with 2mb chip.
If I use original 68k and ROM, it detects 2mb chip. If I remove them and use Vampire, I only get 512kb of chipram. Also if I remove CF card, it never shows the KS screen. I tested my computer with another vampire from a friend and all is fine. He has core 2.10 , while I have 2.11. Am I doing something wrong? Do I have to register something? Everything in my amiga2000 is ok, PSU and board recaped.
Can anyone help me?

Also I cannot get access to early boot screen and floppy doesn't work either. With original cpu and rom, I have no issues. Floppy works and early boot screen appears with no issue.

Did you try to downgrade the core of your Vampire to 2.10?

My A2000 has a MegaChip with 2MB chip ram and a Vampire 500 V2+ with 2.11 core. It works fine, no issue.

This is very unusual and should not be.
How is your V500 connected inside the A2000?
Do you have other hardware/cards in your AMIGA?

Hi,

I am new here in the forum and new in the Vampire business.
I also facing issues booting my A500 with the r54. The onliest way to boot the A500 is using my ordinary CF card from my A1200 or I boot from floppy. The Vampire is working because using Sysinfo4 it shows me the 68040 etc and the speed is about 99K.

I never can see the early bootscreen or can boot from my CF which I have prepared with the latest (r54) coffin image.

Did I make something wrong or (propably) missed some points?

I think I need some support.

Hi Gunnar, I already talked to Majsta, he's taking care of it :)
But without any card, it still doesn't show any ks screen on RGB.

I couldn't fix remotely Edro Ferreira's card. Card just don't work properly on chip controller side. Have no idea what is it but I m suspecting that one of the voltage level shifters died, probably on address bus. As agreed card will be replaced. What was strange is that he found some soldering flux on the card so someone from our resellers did try to fix it. Could be that it was damaged in transport but I will know more when I receive it. By the serial number I see that card is legit and send by me to one of amiga shops.

@Lao Mu I have seen that you contacted me on IRC but I was away, sorry. Please try again or on my mail you have listed in automated mail you got from our server.

Majsta,

You are worth more money for all the work you are doing. You should ask Gunnar for a raise in pay.

Keep up the great work.
