First of all a Happy New Year :-)
and thanks for great Work done so far regarding
  Apollo and Vampire developments!!!

What do you think about a "feature" for the Vampire/Apollo
to address more than 2MB Chip Mem?

I've seen this "feature" on a video
  (http://youtu.be/vn4ZzLH6MpE) of the fpgaArcade.

It was cool to see how the guy was able to address 48MB
of ChipRam and load a 3200x1600px Picture of Earth into
Personal Paint and scroll smoothly though it.

  What are your thoughts?

  Regards
  Kymon

Does Personal Paint use chip ram in RTG mode?

Sorry, but I don't get the question.
You should be able to use 128 MB of display memory in PPAINT on Vampire.

I believe he's asking, "how much of the 128 Megs is fast RAM and how much is chip RAM."

If I'm not wrong this time, Chip is still Chip, and Fast is just Fast, nothing has changed without build SAGA, that can handle more than 2MB.
For now, OCS ECS and AGA still have access only to CHIP, and can't work with Vampire Fast RAM. If team will build SAGA, probably they can give SAGA access to FAST, or just remove FAST and make whole 128MB a new Chip memory for chipset and CPU.

The Question was about showing pictures in PERSONAL PAINT.
And the answer is Personal Paint does use the full 128 MB for this.

This is truly spectacular. I would love it if it could possible.

The other way round the first Amigas (e.g. the A1000, A2000A) have only an OCS chipset with its 512KB chipram limit and therefore we must neccesarily find out a way to give them at least some additional chipram.

I think you'll be fine. I made a quick test with 3200x1600 image and 1MB Chip RAM. Only about 11.5MB Fast MEM was needed.
