| Hi guys, I'm very happy to inform you that relnev did a new build of ScummVM RTG 1.8.0 based on what NovaCoder left as sources. Kudos to both these two guys. It still need a bit of polishing but it already works well. Here is a quick video of it running Sam'n'Max and Curse of Monkey Island : EXTERNAL LINK Link to the exe : EXTERNAL LINK Enjoy it and feel free to show us videos of gameplays and come to discuss it with us on IRC.

| I used the version in the link above and it starts fine. Did you decompress it correctly with the executable flag? I tried DOTT, however the audio was stuttering like it couldn't keep up. How is the audio set up? I am just using Paula audio.

| hi , i have a replacement Vampire and its working perfectly so thanks to Igor. As for Scummvm (it was a week ago...) i think i downloaded Scumm version 1.8 and then copied the 1.5 RTG ScummVM icon over in to the 1.8 directory and ran it as normal. moved the original 1.8 ScummVM icon in to another folder out of the way. Im having a few issues with it, DOTT sound is poor but the Beneath a steel sky works good. i'll try a few and Youtube them tomorrow, mike

| You need NovaCoder's base package : EXTERNAL LINK and then replace exe with a NoFPU binary of 1.8.0 from here : EXTERNAL LINK Enjoy!

| Has anyone tested which version runs the fastest on Apollo? 040 or 060 I would guess, or is the difference indiscernible? I also had an issue with the sound in DOTT, however that was when I was running it from the SD controller which was too slow to load the audio while playing. After running the game from IDE-CF, there are no problems with the speech or music through Paula.

| Hello Renaud, Thanks for the links. Scummvm seems very unstable. I tested it with dott cd version. This copy works great with scummvm on my 1200 060. With the vampire i don't have sound at all or sometimes some static destortion. I tried various settings It then sometimes does not start at all (game) and I get a crash. Also f5 does not take me to the menu. I tried silver and gold core. No change. I tried all executables copied to the scummvm folder. My os is 3.9 (classicwb).

| How did you get Curse of Monkey Island to run? When I try, it says that ScummVM needs to be compiled with vorbis support (the audio files was stored as .ogg). So I tried decompressing all .ogg files to .wav but I still get the same error. How are the audio files stored with you?

| Are there any news regarding scummvm on the vampire/apollo core? I used the version of scummvm from the initial post in this thread. However it is not working very reliable, the menus are sluggish and the sound ist stuttering from time to time. The last tip from Mr. Schweingruber isn´t working for me. Most of the executables make my Amiga crash hard, sometimes I have to power the Amiga off for a minute to make it working again at all. The best thing I can get is a two tone menu of scummvm (black/green) and it crashes as soon as I try to change some settings.
