  Awesome job on his part!

V4SA(old one) - game works perfectly, but I've got pain just below my back from this game. I'll play again.

I'd like hear some groovy music on background(or even some hardcore like in Destruction Derby 2).

V4sa + report: (core7.4 ,rev 3D board oct2021)

Both 040 & 060 seem to work as good.
Fast, very hi framerate.
Good physics, car can rol over, jump.
There is engine sound.
Sound on impact cones, and good car reaction from impact
Good arrow indicator.
Steering works amazingly good, knowing there is no analog steering.
Auto save fastest time
Driving direction can be seen by sun brightening the car sides.

I love the non-restrictive nature of this VERY much.
- no time limit
- can go everwhere (no track needs to be followed)

It is a half a minute drive from border to border

Things found:
- It can lay on its size, so a always present 'reset car' (even when it is not up side down) would be nice.
(it final got on its tyres again)
- When you hit the right white start cone there is a repeating 'bump' sound.
The repeating'bump'sound stayed even when back in the track selection.
- Track selection could be joystick directed.
- Does not goes back to os on exit very well, but at least it trys.
and not much amiga games do even that.
- Moon needs moon grav & higher jumps/craters!
- I would love to see analog joypad steering on this.

Conclusion:
  I love it.

Thank you, BSzilli & man_with_the_not_quoteable_name

RCross - zandvoort dutch pre-beta
We need to have a dutch track: Zandvoort, & a dutch car: Donkervoort.

Works as replacement taramac2 (ta02*),
not as ta03* or ut01*

Colors are wrong indexed, i am using old photosjop, local(adaptive) 160 primaries, no trans.
Heightmap works correct, road probably also.
Gates also good.
How to fix that?

You could try to open it with Gimp, convert to RGB and then to indexed with 160 colors. Photoshop uses upper part of the 256 color palette for some reason, but the game expects color indexes 0 - 159 to be used. That is how Gimp does it.

O.k, that did the trick, thank you.

RCross - Zandvoort beta
  3 tracks:
default is rally cross. (circuit & dune) (2:33)
normal circuit. (1:38)
short circuit. (1:10)

Track looks and plays quite well (apart from steep "walls" where the collisions are not detected - the engine does not count on such track design). However replacing official game files is not the standard procedure. The game supports separate user tracks while the game files are left untouched. I suggest the following:
Create directory "zandv", put all files there. Name the files za01, za02, za03...
Create file zandv.dat similar to tracks.dat where you list all your tracks. The zandv.dat file should be next to zandv directory, not inside it (I feel I should change this in the next version).
Then simply run command: rcross zandv
And all your user tracks should appear.

I got inspired from this for the next version: I could allow to specify the tga files explicitly in the xml files. That way these could be reused between more tracks as you do here.

All and all, nice job!

Got it, that works.

A seperate folder is very good, but it would be good if found tracks showup in the list.

Right now i have placed the files in the tracks-folder & altered "tracks.dat" to get this picture.
