According to the creators AgedCode. This game will have inspirations based on games like Sid Meier's Pirates!, Elite Frontier II, Freelancer, Aquanox and some other good games. However the game does not contain arcade elements and, as it was said on other occassion, it's not a 3D type. It's rather slow pace action that does include trading where you can play it with a cup of tea or coffee and have some snacks...... And that's just a small snippet of the game, but for further information please see the indepth blog below.

Intro video

For as long as you can remember one thing was always the same. Each year your mother took you to a house on the coast—a house of her brother, your uncle Jules. The journey always began on a train. Excited to see something more than just streets of Paris, your child's eyes were gazing at every piece of landscape passing by, memorizing everything on the way to your uncle. It was, however, his stories that fascinated you the most. As a sailor he has seen and experienced incredible situations. From the remotest, uncharted areas, he would always bring you and your mother a gift. The thing sometimes looked like as coming from a different world. Every single time you asked him when he would take you with him on one of his voyages. If it was not for your mother, who was never fond of the sea, he would have probably done it already...
An unfortunate event has changed your life completely. It has been a while since you realized that your mother's health is not well. Eventually, it became clear that your uncle's bizarre gifts to your mum were all kinds of medicines to help her fight with an unknown disease. You have understood that his travelling was not just a quest for adventure. He tried all he could to find a cure for his beloved sister. Ironically, being on yet another expedition in search for a remedy, he could not even attend her funeral.
Now you have just received a short telegram from your uncle. In it, he encourages you to leave everything behind and come to him on the first train possible. He will meet you at his house. He also writes that he has a secret to reveal to you. It is June 1821...

Is this still active? The 'teaser' video is from December 2018.

The game is still active and we have moved closer to completion.  My involvement has dropped since working on "Too many" projects, oh working on a few Vampire games now too :)

Not available yet, but we do want to finish it this year.  The developers have a private discord channel and we are encouraging each other to finish the game, even if we are swamped with other work. I plan to start ramping up my time on it very soon.  Moving house has slowed down those efforts.  Once it’s close to release we’ll do our best to hit all media channels :)

Seriously?  Not available yet, but you're encouraging each other to finish the game.  That is not a plan worthy of ANY investment.  It isn't even a plan. This smells of just another cash grab and I'm willing to bet that any money sent to the "devs" of this game will go into a real abyss.  Pun intended.

Hi Kevin,

You are on the VAMPIRE messageboard.

1. Is your game enhanced to Vampire 2 or Vampire 4 standalone capabilities?

2. What programming language is this being made with?
(Curious, not a deal breaker for purchasing it, whatsoever.)

Hi Steve,  I am one of the developers on the game and when I see projects that I'm involved with like to make sure if I can to keep people in the loop as much as possible. I don't gain any $ from this or any of the games I have been part of, I do it because I love the Amiga and love working with developers for our favourite platform.

If I didn't have the following projects active could spend 100% time helping complete the game:

- Boss Machine
- Reshoot Proxima III
- Paperswing
- Turbo Tomato
- Nova (PC)
- Last UFO (PC)
- (3 Exclusive Vampire games)
- Just completed (Video image promo for the upcoming Art Contest - this will be active in the next few weeks)
- Other misc work (eg with AmigaKit)

If people enjoy what I do and want to see more I do have my Patreon site that I show more in-depth behind the scenes including Aquabyss, Peter the coder would prefer not to reveal too much till its completed. I have a family and work full time, so my time is limited :)

Hi Thierry,

Yes here and on Discord as one of the game developers :)

1. It is not enhanced for Vampire, Once I get access to a demo will let you know how it performs. It's target machine is OCS/ECS (Half-bright - 64 colours)

2. I believe it's with Assembler but I will check with Peter who is the coder and his project.

I will let you know (have let Peter know in our private dev channel on Discord)

Hi Thierry,

Quick update from the Coder:
----
The game is not "enhanced" for Vampire cards but does take advantage of a faster CPU. There will be a video from the development that will explain many questions. Until then please be patient.
