I think I've already figured the answer myself,

Am I correct in assuming that DIGITAL-VIDEO is only supported for the RTG output? if that's the case, programs running say from whdload can only be displayed on the standard a600 outputs? If not how can I display them?

If my assumption is correct when/is there a scheduled implementation of some form of non-rtg output from the DIGITAL-VIDEO? I presume on the implementation of the AGA chipset, (is that in a schedule somewhere?)

I will say, what I've experienced so far this card is bloody amazing!

In time there will be an "orginal screen mode" output on/to DIGITAL-VIDEO. But for this to work they ( Apollo team ) have to implement AGA into the FPGA core.

the only cd32 game I have been able to get to work on the A600 vampire is VIKINGS.... apparently THE AGA chipset wasn't used on this "CD32" game.

For now Apollo still not contain AGA chipset, it should be added in near future I hope. Before it happend games and programs will talk only with ECS on Amiga board :-)

Yes currently RTG is DIGITAL-VIDEO output and all other modes are out the RGB port.  So you would need to run 2 monitors for now or a switch box and a scan doubler.

Any idea at all when AGA will be added? Having to use an Indi ECS for WHDload output and its not ideal. Obviously none of the AGA stuff works.

After all the info in these forums, I'll venture a qualified guess.
I think that top priority is to make the CPU part as good as it can be.
As seen in Gold2, CPU is getting really mature. Next priority should be the FPU.
Once the 68080 is a full replacement for the 060 then I guess other features will be dealt with. That being said, I believe there is already a lot of work done on "softAGA" back from the Natami days, so they aren't starting with a blank page, its a matter of priority though..
