Quake 1 Runs With No Sound

Is it possible to run Quake 1 with sound? Thanks!

The Quake menu (CD sound, game sound) does nothing, no matter how I set it.

I take it this with the original Amiga audio out?, as DIGITAL-VIDEO audio isn't implemented yet.

  Yes, original audio out. Plus this is the only piece of software I have sound issues with.

Both icons in the quake folder "RunGame" and "RunDemo" are just scripts to run samquake with parameters.
Open the files in a texteditor and remove the '-safe' parameter. This enables sound. You may also have a look at "QuakeParameters" help file in the doc folder.
