Scores have gotten real impressive over the past months.
Then knowing the best has yet to come (FPU integration)

New WIP core, x11 speed, 100 MIPS for everyone

Update:
After additional Apollo 68080 improvements the x11 core now reaches 109 Mips.

Nice!, so is the first pic running at x12?

The Sysinfo score of 108 is running on x11.

The Apollo core 68080 is improved continously.
Very soon it will provide over 110 Sysinfo Mips at x11.

The current x13 provides 130 Sysinfo Mips.
while those vampire which can run x15 today reach a Sysinfo score of 150 Mips.

Do we have to "turn on" something to get the extra speed if we have  a black edition card?  I see mine is x11 on silver 6 rev 3229 silver 6.  I had been told I purchased a Black Edition unit.

  Thanks for the improvements!

No! Your card now is slow down for your safety. Otherwise it can be insane fast...

I agree. If it was faster then it would hit 88mph and we know how bad that can be...

AFAIK most of the speed gains you see in new posts from time to time are due to the fact that the core is clocked higher with a higher multiplier. While all normal cores are 11x, I believe some inside the dev team have managed to run ~14-15x.
For me, (stuck at Silver 6, S7 or higher wont work, se other thread)) MIPS in Sysinfo is the same as it was in first version I tried. (Sysinfo shows about 86 MIPS)
Some Cyclone III veriants can manage higher clock speeds, and from what I understand, we will be (in one way or another) offered to acquire cores with higher multipliers further down the road. (Maybe after core is "Gold"?)
I'm not sure what I have to do to get >100MIPS in SysInfo at 11x....

While some benchmarks indeed have been done with higher clock speeds than the standard release, the processing speed has increased a lot with the core releases due to new performance enhancing features, most notably the inclusion of a Branch Target Cache, more instructions supported by the second pipeline and more instructions fused or bonded to be executed in a single clock cycle.
