Ooooops!
Forgot again!
Where's my A2000 and CD32 Accelerator's?

It's alright people I can wait. I understand you need to get it right.

Keep up the great work

Great to see Thierry found his way here from the Natami site at last. We should see some interseting comments now.

Alan - Thierry has been on here for a while - check out his post count... ;)

The A2000 solution is the V500 with an adapter for the CPU slot or possibly directly plugged into the CPU if there is room.

I guess you missed Kipper's A2000 video :) ?

I can't remember if it was Kippers video or not but I did see one with the A500 V2 plugged into the A2000 Accelerator Slot. This poses a question.
Does that performance differ depending whether the card is in place of the CPU or in the Accelerator Slot?

Cheers,

I just checked and yes it was Kipper's video. Thanks for the prompt.
Another question has arisen from the video:
Will the card require some sort of anchoring device to stop it moving from side to side if placed as per the video.
The reason I ask that is because many years ago now I let the smoke out of a pci sound card in a PC because I turned the computer on without screwing the card down. It moved ever so slightly but that was enough and poof. Would hate terribly to do that to my vampire card.

Microchips are not fabricated. They are stones that shamans have trapped spirits inside. The pop is the spirit prison breaking. The smoke is the spirit entering the spirit world.
You can circumvent this in several ways. The most popular is by reinforcing the spirit prisons with screws and/or brackets. Screws negates the earth rotational forces so the spirit prison is a bit more secure. Another one that I use, is to sacrifice a goat at full moon and spill it's blood in a pentagram on white rock while chanting.

Wobbly bits inside computers are bad. There will probably be a support for the A2k kit. ;)
