Mounting .hdf and .iso Files In ApolloOS

Hello, fellow vampires!

Being in the waiting list for my V4SA, I am trying to research as much as I can about ApolloOS, since I would like to use that as my OS of choice for the Vamp. Unfortunately, there isn't much on-line, so here goes:

I see that .adf mounting is possible. But is it possible to mount .iso and .hdf files in this OS?

ApolloOS includes ImageMountGUI - which can handle
mounting ADF and ISO from  either the internal CF or a microSD. That being said, you cannot boot the system from one.

Not certain about .HDF. It's not an emulation environment like WinUAE though.

Great, guys, thanks! I wasn't expecting it to boot from .adf, even 3.X doesn't, but being able to mount the adfs and read their contents is always handy. Iso mounting is great news!

Bummer about the hdf...I think there is an app in 3.X that can mount these files as if they were actual hard disks, but don't quote me on that.

You can use Samba with shared folders from Linux/Windows -- though you need to enable SMB 1.0 protocol in Windows 10 first.

Can be handy sometimes when you don't want to use a memory card to transfer files.

On AROS68k/ApolloOS the standard "no RDB" HDFs can be mounted with ImageMount and DiskImageGui.
