I own a SC-55 and it's gold :)

Particularly I never understood quite well why Atari ST was so overrated just by having the MIDI interface embebed, when it was so easy to add to other computers as the Amiga. Maybe that the MIDI software for Atari was superior?

I let the Music-X author answer to that :-)

"The Atari ST in particular had gotten an early lead because, despite it’s relatively primitive OS (we called it “CP/M with windows”) it came with built-in Midi ports. For the Amiga, you needed an extra hardware adapter to convert the output of the Amiga’s serial port into something that was Midi-compatible. So it was natural that musicians would get the impression that the ST was “the musician’s computer” "
