Aros Caffeine has been my test bed for Aros 68k and the Vampire family of accelerators, and it is with joy that I now kill it! :-)
Well, kill is not the term, rename is more appropriate.
Same spirit as Caffeine I present you ApolloOS, the Aros68k distro that will be distributed with the Vampire V4.

Bye bye Caffeine, welcome ApolloOs

I like it! ApolloOS sounds good and is appropriate.  We had/have AmigaOS which is also the same number of letters.

One letter less actually. :-D

Awesome video as usual Pedro. Love watching your videos. It’s really good to see the progress on AROS, and love the name change for this particular distribution. The logo by Manuel looks cool too. Looking forward to seeing this go from strength to strength.

Sorry I couldn’t resist.
Alan Bradley : Given the prices we charge to students and schools, what sort of improvements have been made in Flynn... I mean, um, ENCOM OS-12?
Richard Mackey : This year we put a "12" on the box.
Edward Dillinger : OS-12 is the most secure operating system ever released.

Thank you Ray and Sean for the kind words. :-)
I really appreciate the words because it has been an huge effort from the Team guys who are working on this project, putting Aros running at an acceptable level on the Vampires.

Kamelito, sorry i don't get the joke... if indeed this was intended to be funny, keep in mind that you are making fun of a lot of people and their work.

Awesome!

Is there a alpha/beta available for download?

I'd like to test it on my 1200v2 and possibly contribute.

Pedro, you've done an incredible work. I remember your pain when you told me the list of bugs were overwhelming and discouraging. But you didn't give up..and now your distro will be the soul of ApolloOS, the building fundation for something new and better. Thank you Bro!

See Tron Legacy, well I think the quote was appropriate and funny, that doesn’t mean I laughing about the work of the AROS, Apollo team and Tony Willen from WinUAE who contributed to the 68k kickstart etc.

@Kamelito Loveless

Dont worry Kamelito, I smirked when I read the comment :)

And I didnt find it to belittle the teams effort.

We should be able to have some friendly banter without getting all wound up :)

And Pedro+Team; Thanks for the info and all the hard work!

Hola Pedro! May be available a fully configured preinstalled edition in the future, or do i have to build my system from scratch? I'm a newby amiga fan (but a commodore 64 addict for ages) so create a coffine like system is a mission impossible for me :) thx!

Great to see another >100% legal< OS dedicated for Vampire V4 is getting substantial progress!

Just make sure Reshoot-R AROS demo runs well!
