Imminent release also for AROS One 68k (a few more weeks), great work, fixed themes like the x86, best configured Zune, added a toolbar in AmiDock style (WBDock).
AROS One 68k has also been updated with the latest Night, now icons no longer create artifacts while moving, improved compatibility with OS3, WHDLoad now works perfectly on AROS One 68k as many other applications previously not supported.

That looks and sounds very nice.
Does most games work as normal under WHDLoad?

If AROS boots on Vamp. just as we know it does it is no reason why this distro should not. It is the latest AROS night build with added software and configurations.

Yes, the WHDLoad OCS/ECS/AGA games work well if you add what you need to WHDLoad

It is a Distro that embellishes and adds OS3 Free applications supported by AROS 68k to the Nightly Build "Standard".

Thanks for showing AROS One :)

Its how I would love my Amiga OS to look on the V4 Ive lined up ordering.

The performance issue is a problem Im sure, for now.

That's a gorgeous looking AROS distribution and definitely shows what AROS is capable of.

This would be a nice basic AROS distro to include with vampires .

With the inclusion of AROS with Standalone V4, and the continued mess with AOS3.x, I think its relatively safe to say that Apollo/Vampire users will rather quickly transition over to AROS permanently, considering the rather impressive demostrations done by Pedro Cotter.

I suspect that the Coffin developer might make a "Coffin" version for AROS, but since you are good at skinning and testing, have you considered making a very light version of AROS desktop?

Take me as an example; I used to really enjoy Amikit, for all its bling, but these days I want a more minimalistic workbench. More functional features, instead of focus of color and fancy icons.

Same goes for my AMD machine; Ive gone from Windows to Linux, and I keep it increasingly minimalistic. Same on my smartphone etc. Features and control over "bling".

Reading comments, it seems like an area of AROS that will have alot of support if you have time to do 2 distros. Just a thought :)

AROS as new AMIGA OS has certainly a lot of potential.
A great advantage of AROS is also that it includes a USB and a Ethernetstack.

For me always a great virtue of AMIGA OS was the nice speed and swiftness even on relative low spec Machines (Amiga 500).
Which is the opposite to Windows which is only use able with a multi Gigaherz machine.

For me very important is that we follow the AMIGA tradition of swiftness and efficiency here and that we do all possible to keep also AROS swift, fast and responsive. And that AROS stays useable and nice also on a machine like an Amiga 4000/040.

Dear video poster I think it would be nice of you review your distro and tune it in such way that it runs well on a real A4000.
Maybe you turn JIT off next time when you do a video!

Wont a Apollo optimized AROS running on Vampire run circles around a 4000/040 AROS install?

So having a accelerated WinUAE demostration will be closer to Vampire than 080 vs 040 (if on Apollo accelerated AROS).

Gunnar, I think that’s highly unlikely. Amiga User has been very vocal on other forums about not seeing why anyone would need anything other than emulation, that he hasn’t owned (maybe used I don’t remember) a real Amiga in many years and I’d have to look up what was said about Vampire but it wasn’t great from memory.

I’m not out to personally bash anyone but I am a little perplexed why they are here in this case. I guess to push their AROS distro  everywhere possible.
