| Wow! WOW!!!! WOOO HOOOO!!!! (x47) In the picture, there are 47... Heh, going to take a LONG time to cater to the demand!!!!! We saw numbers of 2,500+ before being handed over to commercial outlets. I would say that, since that was ONLY when A600 and A500 (I know, usable with a bit of effort on A1000, 2000 and CDTVs) models were available, that sales IN EXCESS of 7,000 are QUITE POSSIBLE NOW!!!!!!! (I'm throwing that out there as a total of old and new sales by Dec. 2018.) It's the standalone that will be the SUPERSTAR, because old Amigas are difficult to acquire, may be dodgy and are at times, (crazy) EXPENSIVE!!!! The standalone is the least likely to have quirks and possible slowdowns, not having to rely on being connected to old hardware. And having a user base of 7,000+, the REVOLUTION will have "sealed the deal" because at that point with that amount of Vampires across the landscape, it will be the #1 IN USE model of AMIGA in the world!!!!! and they said it couldn't be done ONLY (Apollo/Vampire) AMIGA MAKES IT POSSIBLE!!!! Only Apollo Team would know, but given the V4 PDF details the standalone roadmap as it is NOW, I doubt Q4 or Q1 (2018) is in the cards; The Vampire V4 is made with a standard “one design to fit them all” and comes in three flavors depending on customer need: o The Vampire V4 Standalone System o The Vampire V4 for Amiga Classic compatible with o Amiga 1000/500/2000/CDTV o Amiga 600 with kippa’s adapter (if produced) o The Vampire V4 for Amiga 1200 EXTERNAL LINK

| CLICK HERE I cant see any mention of V3000/4000 in the annoucement. Alot of people wishes Vampire to arrive for the 4000, which is understandable. And I would not be suprised if they eventually end up producing for those Amigas, but for now it seems like the focus is in the order above. How long it will take to reach the 3000/4000 (or if at all), who knows. Atleast production is now factorybased, so going thru the orderbacklog of V4 wont be hazardous to the health like it was for Kipper and Majsta.

| But will the standalone come in its own box? I would love so much to have it in an Amiga like case, which sadly I don't have...

Team demonstrated their own FPGA-design like case. CLICK HERE Currently, no existing design fully fits the new Standalone. I am asking Loriano could his X500 design be adopted, but its on a long stick. Case market is open :-)

Oh cool! Thank you for this info! The x500 would be perfect if adapted! And I would definitely back this on kickstarter! I'm puzzled, is the case in the link opened (cover missing?) or is it just like that? Is there more info on this case?

It seems there will be team produced case, and it might just look as it has been seen, or a bit improved. Hah, when they all have Vampire teeth beneath :-)
