We improved the AUDIO quality of PAMELA AUDIO Chip (PAULA 2.0) this weekend.
As you will know PAMELA support full 8 DMA driven audio channels able to play 8/16bit samples
This weekend the AUDIO quality was improved to full HI-FI levels with 24bit mixing precision plus 4-times oversampling.

I always thought Pamela should be an improved graphics chip since the name gives me some graphical associations :)
But the progress is here, bravo boys !

Amazing! Is the sound gona to be available through the standard Amiga audio ouput jacks?

Audio comes via DIGITAL-VIDEO. For the analog audio you will need DIGITAL-VIDEO Audio Splitter. Something like this: EXTERNAL LINK

I notice the description says "Specifications: 1.DIGITAL-VIDEO resolution: 1080P/1080i/720p/576p/576i/480p/480i" but what about the esoteric Amiga modes we can push through the DIGITAL-VIDEO?

Better to have proper DIGITAL-VIDEO-display with audio support, than DVI-monitor without DIGITAL-VIDEO audio support. No need for adapters/splitters then.

The "esoteric" Amiga modes are 576p (PAL) and 480p (NTSC) which are listed above.

Many displays should provide an audio out option to connect to some amplifier. Or you might use an A/V receiver with DIGITAL-VIDEO in the first place. So there are many different options.
