I would have thought that in the past but Majsta says usually 7 days.

If someone can, please direct me to the appropriate contact. Something is amiss with the shipment.

  David,
You should have received an original email with contact information, but if not you may contact Majsta directly by email for the V500 cards, or Kipper2k for V600. Majsta addressed all of my questions and concerns about my order.

The no-reply address simply means it was an automated email notification. But Majsta especially will answer all your questions and he usually replies very quickly, depending on time zone. You may have to wait a day for a response.

They (the Apollo Team) are a small group of people spread out across several time zones. They aren't a "company" in the normal sense and we aren't "customers" but merely purchasers. However, they are doing a great job so far. They are trying, I believe, to streamline the production and delivery systems to make things more efficient.

Michael, just go off chat line with Majsta.

Basically it could take up to a month with US shipping. Tracking numbers given don't work but I am not sure if they would anyways until landing here.

Not sure, told me not to worry.

Where are you and have you received yours yet?

I'm in the state of California, USA. I haven't received my V500 card yet but Majsta assured me that they are in production and will be shipping soon. But then from your experience, from the Ship Date till when it actually arrives at your mailbox may be longer than a couple weeks, and it may be similar in my case. So maybe we can assume deliver to US may vary from 7 days to 30 days.

I'm sure they are aware that there are some disparity in their production, notification and delivery systems and hopefully they will be able to make things more efficient as far as notifications with more automated emails, while at the same time remaining open to personally responding to individual messages like yours and mine.

From what I have noticed on part of Apollo Team they know that payment was made, they know that cards are in production, they also know that once finished the cards will be shipped. So when a card is finished they send an email "Card Shipped". But that may be the only message we receive. The only way to communicate with thousands of people effectively like this is to use automated messages. But for sure we should get an automated response immediately after payment saying "payment received". I didn't get one, so I was left wondering about the status of my order. I only had 7 days to pay and I wasn't sure the payment went through, or not, until I messaged Majsta recently. Effective communication is important.

That is oversimplifying, but from a purchasers perspective after we pay, it may be a long time before we get any notification. Maybe all we get is "Your card shipped". They just have to focus on staying in contact with us through automated messages to keep purchasers like us "in the loop" rather than having a long gap of time in between payment and shipping with no contact. The communication gap leaves purchasers wondering "what is going on?".

I'm glad that I was able to get a quick response from the Apollo Team and that they were able to answer all my questions effectively. That part works well.

  That's a long answer to a short question. ;-)

I am in metro area of Minnesota.

Had a item shipped from Serbia over the holidays. It took 24 days to arrive.

In 2014 I had an item shipped from Hungary, which also took 24 days to arrive.

So in general, no shipping email means not shipped yet?

Also the check page (http://orders.apollo-accelerators.com) shows no new status for my email.

Hopefully, they are working on improving the production, notification, and delivery process. We "should" receive an automated "payment received" after payment is made and we should receive follow up messages after that. But I didn't get a message so I had to contact Majsta to check. Why should the purchaser need to ask for information? That should be provided automatically without asking. (My opinion).

I suggested that the check status should change from "card allocated" to "processing order" immediately after payment received then eventually "card shipped" so that we know what's happening. At the moment it may be a few weeks after payment before we get any email. I feel that the Apollo Team really needs to work on these notifications to keep purchasers updated so we don't have to guess what's happening.

After having no messages after payment for a couple weeks I contacted Majsta to ask about my order. He told me that cards were being processed and that mine would be ready soon and that I would receive an automated message soon ("card shipped" notification I hope?). I haven't received a notification yet either. Still waiting a while longer.

Although, the automated email notification system isn't working very effectively at the moment, you can send a message directly to Majsta asking about your order as I did. He's usually quick to answer and very helpful. I hope you enjoy your new accelerator card when it arrives! I'm working on my Amiga 500, fixing it up before my new accelerator arrives. Even if it takes a few more weeks, I still have time. No worries!

Nope! Not yet. Mine was supposed to be finished and sent out last Friday, but I haven't received a "Card Shipped" notification and the status on Apollo Accelerators site is still "Allocated (Handled by Majsta)".

Even if it were shipped soon it might take longer to cross the Atlantic than Christopher Columbus and his three little ships! We'll see what happens.

That was the analogy I was thinking. Or the proverbial slow boat to china or other countries.

31 days after shipping and it is here.
A bit more work than I thought but that's what hobbies are for.

Got it installed and out putting rgb to an nec monitor. Picasso and saga divers installed but still having problems viewing on hdmi monitor.

The fun begins.

I'm very glad to hear that my friend. You seem quite pleased. Your "slow boat" has arrived at last.

Still waiting for mine! I paid on March 23rd and mine hasn't shipped yet. A message on Majsta's web page dated April 15th said "shipments will begin after the holidays" but the only holiday I can think of is Easter. I hope I get a notice of shipment soon, then another 30 days for it to cross the Atlantic! :-)

George,
It has been about a month since I paid for my V500 card too! I also didn't get an email for "payment received" which is worrisome after receiving the first message saying "you have seven days to pay or your card may be given to something else". That is a serious flaw in the automated email system they are using! It isn't good business manners to keep purchasers like us wondering what's happening. Hopefully, the Apollo team will fix their notification system in the near future 'cause it ain't working!

I hope yours gets sorted out soon. If kipper2k doesn't answer soon try contacting Majsta. Maybe he can help.

David,
You received your card so I have a few easy questions. How did it arrive, what carrier? Postal Service? FedEx, UPS? Second, was the FPGA card flashed prior to shipment, did it work "out-of-the-box" so to say? Of course it needs to be reflashed when updates are available. Keep us posted about your progress! Have fun!

I also paid for a 600 at the 25.03.17, immediately via PP and I'm waiting since that for any further info.

But in the mail was also the following info:

"I have a few boards to mail but the majority of the boards will take 4 - 5 weeks to be ordered, manufactured and ready for mailing."

Of course I wanna have the card sooner than later... let's be fair, until now everything is within schedule. I'm sure the Apollo team will imporve it's customer service as a part of the overall package.
As we say in Germany "Rom wasn't build in one day...".

For me it's ok to wait a bit longer, to get the best card yet available on the market and I'm happy that Apollo puts the main effort into the product itself, instead of selling a half-finished product.

Great weekend to everybody

Daniel

Michael, the card came registered mail. Mind you this took 31 days from the shipped notice not allocated etc, all the way from Igor's home in Bosnia.

It sort of works out of the box but won't display hdmi just yet. Downloaded the required Picasso and Saga drivers from their site and got lcd working nice.

It does come with latest gold 2 core installed.

Due to the limits of amiga 500 transferring files back and forth seems cumbersome. No way for an external flash card. I don't think this case will ever get closed up due to the need to access the sd card for file transfer. By the way, I haven't got the micro sd slot working yet.

It has been 16 days since Jens shipped the Aca card I ordered so these things are slower than in the past for me.

Thats all for the first night.

David,
Thanks for all the great information. For data transfer for A500 you can get a three way 44 pin ide. Connect your sd card reader and a cf card reader or a second sd card reader. For my A1200 I have an internal sd card reader and a pcmcia cf card reader for data transfer.
