We hereby announce a new Feature of SAGA chipset
Magic DMA engines
The new DMA engines provide the following features: * CPU cache coherent. No nasty cache flushed needed to use them
* fully honoring CPU MPU and MMU. This means DMA can support virtual memory Memory can be protected from overwrite by DMA Bad DMA access can be catched with Enforcer like tools
We work right now on DMA engines/drivers for * FAST-IDE controller * SDCard Controller * Network Controller
The DMA engines are really fast. This combination of performance and features (as MMU support) was never seen on any Amiga hardware before.

What kind of MMU support du you mean? Motorola 680x0 compatible PMMU? (would be... yippieh!)

Nice work. As usual a very well thought-out implementation.

Cool, especially the storage media speedup! I only hope this won't delay the FPU feature :P {runs away}

Amazing news - yet again the Vampire team delivers break-through performance for our beloved Amigas. Can't wait to try it out with the 128GB SD card I have installed in my 600 which is in serious need of a speed boost. :)
