Amazon doesn't list anything either.

I don't think it was ever mentioned that these cards would be sold through those retailers.

As far as I'm aware you can only pre-order through here:

Uhm, you expected a different result? No Amiga stuff at Best Buy, check.

Humor is not recognized or welcome on this board? Too dry perhaps.

Can't speak for others but I actually lol'd when I saw your reply :D And I for one would sooo welcome more humor in the current Amiga community.

We will make a roadmap for the longer future.

Please make that update include the barest minimum 16bit audio support.

Oops, my apologies. I did not recognize the humor. :)

Hello!
I'm new to this forum, so pardon if the questions I'm asking got already addressed in another topic.

First thing first - what I read here looks amazing so far. A fantastic job, and what you're doing is truly breath taking. I've already preordered the IceDrake, but I believe some prep work might be needed on my end. This being said, will the original case for an A1200 be good enough to fit the card? What sort of PSU would I need to obtain to make sure everything will work fine?

Yes.

I canít speak for the original A1200 PSU which has 3A on the 5v rail as Iíve never used one, but I use an original heavy A500 PSU with 4.3A on the 5v rail and it has worked flawlessly with my Vampire 1200.

Iíd say that these types of PSUís would be fine too:

Too bad someone somewhere could create a project improving the 1000's chipram issue. I don't mean like in the past with Phoenix and Rejuvenator but simpler. I do know Jens has it his idea hopper to do some day but does seem unlikely. Oh well.

Serious questions this time.  ;)

1. Will the RTG support support higher than 24hz?    If not, is this a problem using modern day monitors?  For example, I have an Asus 1080p 75hz I'd like to use with it.

2. Will it support AmigaOS 3.2, etc, so you can still run WHDLoad, other things as well?

Thanks, this looks great!

Video modes up to 720p can achieve 60Hz, with some modes achieving even higher refresh rates as I've noted in my experiments. The best you'll get out of 1080p safely is 24Hz.

Yes it will.

Thanks for the response!  One last question for a noob (I never had a flicker fixer in the 90s).

Does DIGITAL-VIDEO support, etc, mean the same thing as providing scandoubling and flicker fixing support?

Thanks again!

This means high speed Graphic card Video out.
- you have real Chunky modes needed for Quake and other games
- you have real Truecolor GFX for best quality
- you can watch Videos
- High resolution Workbench

All you want :)

I'm just curious will the new boards include a jumper/software solution allowing the deactivation of the the card enabling the Amiga ruturn to stock? This is a simple yet very useful feature that allows the user the flexibiliy of ocaasionally switching back and forth for nostalga purposes to run those old floppies etc like we did back in the day.  It's something Phase 5 always incorporated into their designs, ACA and TF cards have retained but it's sadly missing on the Warp and Vampire cards.

As soon as I became aware of the new Firebird and Icedrake cards, I registered my interest on the old "order"-page (second link) where I had already been waiting (in vain) for the V1200 for a while.

Now I am wondering if I should also register at the first of these links which has a different form containing "pre-order"?  The other one has only registered me with "Expressed interest".

Are these "queues" equal or will registering at the "pre-order" be beneficial?
