| I was unable to stand the wait for the Vampire for my A1200. So I caved this weekend and sent in a order for a V4+.
Here is hoping the wait will be short :) Can't wait to look at optimizing the code of my SID-player. Maybe AMMX can make it cycle exact. Remeber dreaming of that back in the days.

Any plan to use your emulation code to write a cycle exact C64 emulator ? I wonder if the V4 is fast enough to do so.

Think it will be hard enough to get the SID-emulation to be cycle exact. Then you still have the rest of the computer to emulate. I actually started writing a C-64 emulator using my highly optimized 6502 cpu emulation I used in the SID-player, but it was a project i never finished. Unclear if I have the code still for that somewhere.The last version of my SID-player can still be found on Aminet. It's called MindSID.
