Sorry -- it won't happen again.

Hi folks,

I've downloaded the Release5 file, but having problems with flashing it.

I type in the command "VampireFlash SA_RELEASE5_7905.jic", but it returns the error "Cannot identify Vampire V2 Flash Chip".

Is there an error with spaces/underscores?

Thanks!

What release do you have installed currently?
When you have a very old release you might 1st need to download the current VampireFlash tool.
The latest tool version is installed on the R5 CF image.

Thanks Gunnar,

I have to hold my hands up and say I'm not entirely sure ...

The ApolloOS build is dated Nov 9 2020.

CPU information reads AC68080 @85MHz (x12) (2p).
Board information provides the following chip info:
Video Chip: AGA Lisa (4203)
Audio Chip: Pamela (8364 rev1)
Akiko Chip: Not detected (0x0000)
Akiko C2P: Uninitialized (0x00000000)

I'm guessing from the ApolloOS build that I must have a fairly up-to-date system already?

Thanks,
Iain

I would recommend to upgrade to Distro Release5 which is on our download page.

(You can even during runtime switch your Amiga video out to PAL/NTSC50/NTSC).  This allows running games like an PAL or NTSC Amiga.

Great to hear.  Are these keys documented somewhere?  I read somewhere that there are quite a few of them.
