All good :) I just wanted to make sure that I didn't miss anything in the ordering process.

I ordered today, missed this post yesterday :(, so how many units are up for grabs now for "immediate" shipping? need to ballpark my odds of getting one this year :)

Frankly the year is relative short now ...
So even for those that order more than we have on stock
I have good news:  we expect more cards already in early January.

Just when i don't have the money, always my luck, this christmas i did need a few upgrade's in my electronics lab, my stuff that i had was as old as me, so i did get new stuff, $$$ that did hurt, but back in the old day's i did love my Amiga, last month i did make a mistake, i did do a recap for a old acquaintance i now, he ask me can you do a recap/repair for me of my old Amiga, i say yes no problem, bring it along, then I can take a look at it, the story is, make it, but do not turn it on and play with it, i must test stuff that i make ;), but do not do that with a Amiga, you will turn young again and get the Amiga virus back, damn it, i did turn it on.
So a long story but with a good ending i hope, your the best thing i now to get a new real Amiga back, in the old day's i did always dream of a Amiga 3000 or even a 4000, who did not have that dream back than, so your Vampire V4 and the Checkmate A1500 case are a perfect combo, only i do not now if i buy the white (gets yellow in time) or the black one.
I'm not rich, so i have to wait to get the money together, but than i buy one, and be young again.
Thanks Apollo team, keep the Amiga Alive

Merry Chrismas to all.

Just a small question, I put my order request, then I have received an email for invoice, I answered immediately but since no news, normal, not received my answer or there is too much request ! :-)

I wait for 20 years I can wait some month more ;-)

Dumb question - What would need to be paired with this offering to get a completely functional machine?

I'm USA based, so if I have to source additional parts overseas, I'd like to do it in one shot, rather than piecemeal if at all possible.

Thanks in advance.

I believe there is no answering, but next one should be once Vamp is allocated.

Trying to describe the process for FAQ, any assistance on the text or phrasing is welcome:

ORDERING - ORDER, SAVE MONEY AND SIT TIGHT!

Q:  Where can I order Vamp from?

A:  Depends on your location and wanted model. We offer 8 sources for now:

Order V4 from team, V4SA  550e, Germany

Order V2 300-450e from Majsta, Bosnia

Vesalia Germany (search Vampire)  Amedia France  RELEC Suiss

AmigaStore EU    Alinea    AmigaKit UK

Q:  How does ordering a Vampire look like

A:  Since its hand made in small batches, Vamp availiability changes in course of year.
Grab one when you can, for what it is. Mind that Vampire is a board, not a system as All-In-One PC,
but level of integration is high. Almost everything is on small board with FPGA chip and RAM.

It starts by expressing interest. You will get mail of confirmation. Save money meanwhile, and once its ready,
you will be asked. Please check spam folders for confirmation e-mail, since it’s generic
(depends on your e-mail client/server settings). Similarly, even going to Amiga reselers,
does not guarantee imidiate availiability.

You express interest and wait for mail, you will not be charged meanwhile. Good side is you can have additional software installed or hardware added by resellers, versus buying from team, where you build system from the board. Buying from team might save some time and money and is a form of direct support, while buying from dealers supports their existence.

You can’t go wrong! (vox)

Q:  I have sent email to Majsta and had no reply

A:  Majsta is busy making cards and designing new hardware.
He will recontact you once they have a card available for you, please be patient.

Well,
Suggestion about V4 order handling:
Adding auto email after submit like V2 have, definitely should make people less confused.
simple message:
"Thanks for interest, now wait patiently as we have queue of people to handle before you...."
Will do the job...
And if you wish people stop being impatient and attacking you, just display queue:
last sent card order id: 376
...
So enduser can see , ok my order have number 1224 , so i need wait and let people do they work...
What can be simpler than that? ;)

I reached out to Amedia Computer, and will get a complete kit from them. Now, just waiting my turn to receive a system from them.
