Gamescom is the world's largest gaming event with 370,000 visitors and 1037 exhibitors from 56 countries attending the show and the biggest gaming news expo of the year in Europe, held annually at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

This year, gamescom will be even better since ApolloTeam will have a stand there! You heard it; our beloved Vampire will be making the show between latest gaming systems. Who said Amiga was dead, eh?

Meet us at gamescom from 21.08.2019 to 24.08.2019 in Hall 10

Great, the V4 should do well with the level of interest in retro platforms at the moment.

There are obviously alot of gamers/tech heads from the C64 and Amiga generation on such shows, so I expect a nice positive feedback from them.

What will be intresting to see, is how the younger generation will view the Apollo/Vampire :)

Vampire has all the potential to become the perfect HW for retro-style indie games, let's hope it will catch the right attention

@Renaud
  Cool!

Who said Amiga was dead, eh?

  Nobody - at least not at the Gamescom in Hall 10 :) There are plenty of Amigas around there. And last year we actually had a Vampire2 system at the AmigaFuture stand.

  Well, not really. The next "latest gaming system" within half a square mile is probably my X5000 :)
  Rule of thumb: if you can afford your stand then you are in Hall 10 and there are no big players and no such giant fan crowds lining up nearby, pure retro fun instead.
  Hint: get yourself decent earplugs. You can thank me later :)

I just learned that you'll get a corner at the AmigaFuture stand. Even better, all Amiga stuff concentrated at the AF stand, great!

This reminds me of the days when the WoC took place the same location. Back then it also was exiting to go to Cologne...

Great to see Vampire/Apollo being so outwardly active :)

And will always be intresting to see what Daytona 675x works on too!

Been a subscriber of Amiga Future for a good while too, so all the favourite people in one spot sounds like the perfect event :)

Hopefully not. An actual existing V4 for sale somewhere would be nice though.
