| First off, you don't donate. When the board is out you buy it. Second off, the only other expansion option I've heard Gunnar mention for the A1200 board is that it MIGHT get an upgradable FPGA daughterboard for more flexibility and speed in the future. Third off, without SAGA, the graphics will be stuck on AGA's screenmodes because the high definition port is not a scan doubler. Fourth off, who'd write the drivers for the external chips you mentioned? It'd be just a bunch of stuff that would cause headaches for the developers. Fifth off, what software for WarpOS or PowerUp do you need compatibility with? If you want a cheap PPC solution, get a SAM 4x0 or something similar. On AmigaOS 4.x and MorphOS, you'd need a graphics card to get maximum performance anyway, not to mention that the Apollo core would sit idle and lifeless under these OS solutions. They are PPC only but for some boot code. In my opinion, you'd be better off running the PPC code under software emulation on the Apollo core because RISC processors' instruction sets are easier to parse than 68k's CISC.
