The monthly activity report will contain the official word most likely.  Just wait for that.  Otherwise, just be patient.  We are all waiting for this greatly anticipated feature as well.  We do know that it is currently in the hands of beta testers.  So it exists in some pre-release form.  It has been demoed on YouTube many times.  It is coming.  Just hang in there.

The day will soon be upon us when we can all ebay our scandoublers. :-D

I will summarize all that above sentence in couple of words:

When it is ready.

It is like as a child driving to a vacation spot. Dad, how much longer till when will get there?
Dad: Don't make me come back there and explain one more time!

But no problem if it comes later. Better a good product then a buggy one.

Summer where tho? In Australia or UK?

If Tuko wants to lawyer this topic, he can get out of his statement, unless we believe in flat earth.

"When it's done" really is the only sensible answer. ;-)
No one would prefer that they promised "it will be out in a week", then postpone it one week at a time for a zillion times?
Trust me it sucks, Swedish railways tried that when they would tell you when the late train is "actually" coming (although it was minutes or hours, not weeks obviously ;-) and it pissed everyone off to the point where people would passionately hate the company ;-)

So... We can trust that when the thing is ready for prime time, i.e. "when its done".. they will be more than happy to release it.

I have to say that although I'm always impatient for the next core (2.11 is up next right?) the best thing about my Vampire card is I can still use it right now while I wait. Being able to have and use the product while it is still developing is a real game-changer for this kind of project.

you are all missing the point - we were told summer, summer is almost over, I am curious... that is all - my vampired amiga is shelved until gold 3 as its too much of a pain in the arse having 2 different video outputs! i decided months ago that I would only use it when both saga and aga/ocs are all over DIGITAL-VIDEO. Yes I know its in beta testing, its been in beta since last year as I was testing an early beta version of the AGA core.

At the very least, some news on progress would be appreciated for sure.

Really?  It is really too much effort?  Really?  So you packed up your entire amiga and put it away because you couldn't solve dual video outputs?  Wow!  Guess you really are impatient.

I have a simple SCART->DIGITAL-VIDEO box which cost all of 15 Euros which allows me to switch between DIGITAL-VIDEO and SCART with the press of a button.  Not a "pain in the arse" at all.  Took me all of 2 minutes of googling to find it.  Another few minute to order it.  A a few more to install it.  About the same time as it takes you to write all of these posts.

It can't be! - pulls hairs - Noooo! - runs around flailing hand in the air - I actually have to do some effort!! - rolls back and forth crying and weeping -
