| Nice results again, this probably is the fastest transfer speed an A500 ever saw :-) Good to see that he A500 vampire is progressing nicely. Keep up the good work!

| Hi Gunnar, Does the A2000 adapter add much to the cost of the Apollo A500 V2 card as I am looking to get one for my 2000 and one for my A500+. Excellent work Cheers from Alan from Oz

| At some point already, I think the Laws of Physics have been violated by you guys... However, keep going!!! I mean, these are Amiga IMPOSSIBILITIES we're seeing here, right?

I think you are right. Who would have ever thought that a real Amiga could have a transfer speed that fast. Now back to my original question. Gunnar: - What will be the cost of the A2000 adapter? Any idea yet please? I mean just the adapter for the CPU slot. Alan from Oz

| Yes, but I think just for now :)Apollo team probably will beat them in near future :) But the true is- We can have really fast Vampire board, but most of popular SD cards on market gain 10MB/s on write, reading is little faster. Mayby on IDE we can get more, this depend of hard drive too.

| @Alan, Kipper2k's existing CPU adapters retail for $9USD. Whatever the price of the A2000 adapter, I'm sure it will be more than reasonable. EXTERNAL LINK

Hi Geoff, thanks for that. I was beginning to think I had become invisible. I should have realized it would be fairly simple but as they are plugged into the Accelerator slot on the A2000 I was unsure whether they were more than just a CPU adapter. I don't know much about that slot. Thanks very much Cheers, Alan from Oz

| Some more vampire p*rn pics. This is a test board. installed in an A500+ with 1mb chip on the MB and 1BM via the Kipper A500+ ram card. The production release will vary some in features but will retain all current features familiar to the Vampire range of cards. EXTERNAL LINK

| I have been trying to get one of those 1mb ram boards and have emailed Kipper2k but no response. I figure as he is building the Apollo's he is too busy to answer right now. The only problem with that is as more and more people get these and spread the word more and more will want them. I am hopeful that when I order one he will be able to include the a500+ ram board as well. Does that sound about right or any other ideas on how to get one? Cheers from Oz

| after hearing the specs for the Vampire standalone i'm thinking we need more memory for the a2000 version... 128MB is weak, we need some boards to come with at lease 512MB or 1GB...
